Under the current ownership of Jean and Richard Skelton and their friendly and professional staff the traditions of a warm and friendly welcome, superb food and service continue.Located in the stunning village of Beetham, The Wheatsheaf is ideally situated for visits to the South Lakes, Sizergh Castle, Holker Hall, Leighton Moss Nature Reserve and many more. For those not wanting to drive then the local area is ideal for scenic walks or cycling. Dallam deer park and the famous Fairy Steps are both easily accessible from the Hotel.The Wheatsheaf is the perfect place to relax, downstairs just reading a magazine in front of the real fire, or enjoying our Award winning food which is served all day. In addition to our tables downstairs we also have restaurants upstairs for those who prefer a more formal setting. Our Mirror Room for instance can accommodate up to twelve people in style with your own private service.
